At Stratton, we care about our guests AND our staff and want everyone to enjoy the mountain so we have taken the Skier and Rider Responsibility Code to the next level, creating a culture of safety, courtesy and respect. All skiers and riders are required to obtain a SES (Safety Education Session) pass before earning access to Stratton's No. 1 rated freestyle terrain parks. Please take a moment to watch this short video and answer five quick questions. At the end of the quiz, print the SES form, be sure you sign it (your parents MUST sign too, if you’re under 18!) and bring it to Stratton’s outside ticket window (located in the base area) where you can pick-up your new 2008-2009 SES pass. Simple!

“This is a great program to teach riders and skiers how to be safe in the park, which makes it a safer place for everyone,” said Ross Powers.

The SES attendance roster also includes Olympic Gold Medalist Kelly Clark, two-time World Halfpipe Champion Tricia Byrnes, Luke Mitrani (youngest member of the US Team), Lindsey Jacobellis (BoarderX champion) Tim Massucco, (US Ski Team, aerials and moguls) ... scores of top US Open and VT Open competitors and 10,000 amateur skiers and riders
